Special Admision
Eligible applicants
- Individuals with an undergraduate degree, professional title or technical licence.
- Chilean citizens and foreign nationals possessing a Certificate of Secondary School Education, or its equivalent, awarded outside Chile.
- Students from other Higher Education institutions in Chile and abroad.
- Secondary school graduates with special academic, sporting, artistic or vocational merits.
- Students from other Faculties of Universidad Diego Portales wishing to apply for an internal transfer or a parallel degree course.
Application requirements, by category

Individuals with an undergraduate degree, professional title or technical licence: - Notarized photocopy of Degree Certificate
- Notarized
photocopy of Official Transcript of grades.

Foreign nationals and Chilean citizens who have obtained their Certificate of Secondary School Education outside Chile or who are presenting a certificate of equivalence:
- Notarized
photocopy of their Secondary School Certificate
or of the equivalent certification.
- Notarized
photocopy of the Official Transcript of Secondary
School grades or its equivalent, with grade
conversion tables attached when relevant.

Students
from other Higher Education institutions in Chile
and abroad:
Official Transcript of grades.
- Curriculum
for each course in which certification is requested.
- Certificate
or Declaration issued by the Institution of
origin certifying that no impediment exists
for the applicant to continue pursuing a course
of studies at that institution.
- University
Entrance Examination results (for the year
of admission to the first degree course).

Secondary school graduates with special merits:
- Academic,
artistic or vocational merit:
- Notarized
photocopy of the Official Transcript
of Secondary School grades.
- Certificate
or Declaration of academic, artistic
or vocational merit.
- Outstanding
sportsmen and –women:
- Notarized
photocopy of the Official
Transcript of Secondary School
grades.
- Certificate
of Sports Accreditation at
the Federation level.
- Personal
interview (with the Dean
of the Faculty).

Internal transfers or parallel-degree students:
- Copy
of the Statement of Withdrawal from the
original degree course, in the case of
an internal transfer.
- Copy
of the Statement of Admission to the new
degree course.
- University
Entrance Examination results (for the year
of admission to the original degree course).
Those students opting for a change of degree course during their first year of study who had gained admission through the Regular Admissions channel must supply proof that their PSU (Prueba de Selección Universitaria or University Entrance Examination) score is sufficient to gain admission into the new degree course.
Records associated with studies carried out abroad must be formally legalized via diplomatic or consular channels.
Internal transfer students may only apply for one alternative degree course offered by the university.
